 How is the telc German C1 exam structured?

 The exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts 3 hours and 40 minutes (including a 20-minute break). You will have 20 minutes of preparation time before the oral exam. The written and oral exams usually take place on the same day.

 The written exam consists of:
 • Reading comprehension (90 min.)
 • Break (20 min.)
 • Listening comprehension (40 min.)
 • written expression (70 min.)

 After a break, the oral exam follows, usually with one or two other people. You will therefore be examined for 16 minutes in pairs or for 24 minutes in groups of three.
